The Houston Critics Review:
by Trey Henderson
For a good time and some great seafood, try Joe's Crab Shack. Every
item on the menu we have tried is delicious. My office dines at Joe's frequentlly. Everyone seems to have a favorite item.
My favorites are the gumbo, the tuna steak and the crab dip. My
associate Mike McTaggart swears by the chicken sandwich and my law partner Michael Hengst likes the fried shrimp. My Mom always gets the gumbo and salad, and my sister always gets the fish and chips.
On the weekends, I go to Joe's with the family to enjoy their outdoor
playground. It is one of the few non-fastfood places where the parents can enjoy a good meal and the kids can play. It definitely beats McDonald's. The kids love the fried shrimp kid plate and my wife and I split the crab dip.
