The Houston Critics Review:
by Trey Henderson
Kingfish Market is one of the best seafood deals for the money in town. There is a large
lunch menu that is priced just right. My favorite is the Jerk Catfish lunch portion. You get two large pieces of tender catfish with a spicy sauce on the side. Most of the lunch menu comes with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The fried shrimp/crawfish poboys are excellent. My sister's favorite is the seafood pasta, which has very generous portions of shrimp and crawfish. Dinner is also a treat with various fish entrees. I have not had the salads, but they look quite good. |
