Hidden from the nearby traffic of Westheimer, but located in the
heart of Houston's restaurant corridor, Palazzo's Cafe offers a variety of tasty Italian dishes. Lunch includes several very reasonably priced pastas, salads, pizzas and sandwiches, while the dinner menu includes more extensive offerings that are perfect for a casual family outing or a romantic night on the town.
We tasted the Pizza, Veal Piccata, Capellini Crusted Red Snapper,
Chicken Cannelloni, Lasagna, Portebello Mushroom, Mussels and Tomato Basil Soup. Everything we sampled was a culinary delight.. Trey's favorite entree was the Veal Piccata, which includes a generous portion of tender veal with artichoke hearts, capers, lemon butter and capellini aglio olio. Mark's favorite dish was the Chicken Canneloni, which is a blend of chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and ricotta cheese in a light marinara sauce. The hands-down favorite appetizer/light meal was the Portebello Mushroom, which is roasted with garlic and topped with mozzarella and diced tomatoes. For persons living in the Galleria/Briargrove area, Palazzo's delivers gourmet hand-tossed pizza with freshly made dough.and a variety of toppings - a gastronomically superior alternative to Domino's and Pizza Hut.
Check out Palazzo's Cafe and tell them that Trey and Mark sent you.
